As for weeding; I don't like it, but I do love the end result.
The tale of the Japanese Beetle who thought it could ride up my leg in a pair of battle-worn jeans.

🌿 15 Reasons NOT to Weed Today
🌻 15 Reasons TO Weed Today
- I need to see actual soil again.
- That one thistle is looking at me funny.
- The mulch isn’t going to spread itself.
- I want to find where I planted things.
- The garden deserves better than chaos.
- Fresh air is basically therapy.
- My gloves are right here and I just made eye contact with them.
- Weeding is oddly satisfying in a petty revenge kind of way.
- I want the smug feeling later.
- Every pulled weed buys me one smug sip of lemonade.
- It’s cheaper than therapy and burns more calories than doomscrolling.
- I’m avoiding something else more annoying.
- I’m going to show those dandelions who’s boss.
- Future Me will be grateful (probably).
- I love my garden — even when it’s being rude.
Still can’t decide? Flip a coin, pull one weed and see how you feel. That’s gardening wisdom.
