The Story Behind Canadian Gardening

I am the gardener behind the site, sharing practical gardening experiences from my own Canadian garden.

The name "Lion Gardener" grew from a simple idea: gardening takes patience, curiosity, and a little courage. Like a garden itself, the gardener is always learning, adapting, and discovering something new each season.

My garden is not a perfect showcase garden. It is a real working garden where plants, weather, wildlife, and unexpected challenges all become part of the experience.

A Gardener's Journey:

Over the years I have grown vegetables, flowers, grapes, and fruit trees while learning what works in a Canadian climate.

Some experiments succeed. Some do not. Every season brings new lessons:

Gardening in Canada comes with unique challenges. Cold winters, short growing seasons, changing weather, and wildlife all influence what we grow and how we care for our gardens.
