1. How do you handle weeds?

Uproot them immediately, with precision. Mutter at them while sipping coffee. Mulch over them and pretend they're not there. Let them flower. The bees like them.

2. What's your gardening fashion style?

Clean boots, ironed hat, toolbelt. Whatever I woke up in. Flannel and mystery stains. No outfit. Nature accepts me as I am.

3. Your approach to garden planning:

Graph paper and colour-coded seed packets. "I just plant what feels right." Copy the neighbour and wing it. Plans? I laugh in perennials.
