🛠️ Prepare the Garden Space

Clear tools and clutter from walkways
Check for tripping hazards (hoses, rocks, roots)
Ensure paths are dry, stable, and wide enough
Place chair or walker-accessible stool nearby
Set out tools within easy reach of the gardener

☀️ Monitor for Heat or Fatigue

Offer water regularly (especially in hot weather)
Encourage gardening during cooler hours
Apply sunscreen and provide a hat or shade
Watch for signs of dizziness, overheating, or fatigue
